How do you use Bootcamp to download Sony Vegas on Mac?
I've downloaded BootCamp 1.3 on to my desktop, and I've tried to install it. How do I download Sony Vegas now? I've download a trial but it's still just a white, blank file I can't open. Help, please!!
I think you are confused as to what Bootcamp does.
Bootcamp allows your computer to BOOT into Windows. It does not allow Windows programs to run on your Mac when booted into Mac OS X. Essentially you use Bootcamp to start up your computer in Windows and run Windows. The Sony Vegas program will run after your computer is BOOTED into Windows.
A program like Parallels Desktop will allow you to run Windows in a window while booted into Mac OS X. You can run that Sony Vegas program in the Parallels Desktop window just like you would on a Windows PC.
Remember- you will need to do a full install of Windows either way so you'll need a copy of Windows XP or Vista.
