why is an analog antenna needed 4 a "digital" signal on the converter boxes...will it pick up a digital r anag?
it seems to make no sense to need antenna that picks up the old sig...if it is being turned off why do u need it 4 thye converter box? why no digital antenna built into the converter box...
An antenna is just an antenna. In spite of advertizements talking about "digital antennas", there is no such thing. An antenna only varies due to the frequency of the signal it receives and the polarization of the signal. That has not changed. An antenna will pick up analog and digitally encoded signals equally well.
