Need a small portable speaker with no batteries or adapter required, for mp3 + laptop?
Any recommendations on any brands of this kind of speaker? Like the creative popz speaker for example, powered from audio devices.

If you find such a thing I don't think you are going to be happy with it because the audio output level of the laptop or mp3 is so low it needs amplification. I don't know of any device that can deliver the amount of power that you need in order to satisfactorily amplify the output signal without batteries or a power adapter.
