how do i measure the output voltage of a 9v adaptor using a multimeter?
the adaptor o/p pin is male, my multimeter reading showed no change when i connected it's pins to the metal leads of the pin, the multimeter resolution was set to 20v.
yeah, i did connect the MM leads to the o/p pin of the adaptor, how ca the return a positive continuity reading? i don't think that there is any continuity in the adaptor's windings....
1.Make sure the multimeter is on 20 VDC.
2.Connect + probe to + o/p (red or yellow)
3.Connect - probe to - o/p (black)
4.Make sure the power supply of adaptor is on.
5.If still not work, some thing wrong with the adaptor, check fuse or else.
