How do I find out which particular LCD panel(s), and the manufacturer, go with a particular LCD TV?
I am not only looking for the LCD part # and manufacturer that goes with a specific LCD TV, but am also trying to determine substitute part #s for each LCD TV.
That is the type of info that most manufacturers wont give out readily, the major players in panel production are Samsung or Philips/LG .
Recently I quoted a 34cm LCD ($380 new ) the panel alone cost $820 from the spare parts supplier .......go figure !
I wouldn't bother trying to substitute panels .......they are all expensive.
