My internet network connection disconnects everytime the phone rings or is used. Does anyone how to fix this?
I'm on broadband internet and there are 2 computers and 1 laptop connected to the wireless internet connection that we have. For some reason, whenever the phone rings, or if it's used, my laptop's network will suddenly disconnect and I have to restart after the phone is not being used to restart it.
Does anyone know why this happens or anyone know how to fix it?
If you are using cordless phones, they may be operating close to the frequency of your wireless network. Try setting your network to a different channel or a wireless phone that uses a different frequency. Also, DSL uses a filter to separate the phone and broadband connection. If a filter is going bad it could produce strange results and should be replaced.
