What size flat screen tv does one have to buy in order for the picture not to be distorted up close?
Bought a 22" Insignia HDTV -LCD. The picture is terrible up close. One must be right in front of it for it to be clear (and back a little way). I really didn't want a larger one, but may have to get one. What size do you suggest? Thank you.
By distorted I mean, the picture is dark if you are looking from the side or looking up at the set. If one is straight in front and not too close, the picture is pretty nice. I have a smaller set and it is the same way, that is why I thought maybe the sets up to a certain size were all like this. Sorry if I sound confusing, just wonder if all smaller lcds are this way. I've heard there is a difference in flat panels.
The better question would be, what brand TV should you get. If the picture is bad, its probably the set or your reception.
