What is the first thing to do when you have just spilled water on your laptop?
i have just spilled wat on my labtop . i blow dryed it then i turned it on and then i started up prefectly and then the start menu and "notepad" opened automatically with me pressuing them . and i exited them . then they started too pop up again . and then i turned it off and blow dryed it some more . and then i tried to turn it on agian it turned on but it didnt load . Also it had a beeping sound .
and i have a warrenty from Fry's Electronics . Do you know if they cover water damages
What should i do next ?
This is my laptop brand :
FUJITSU E262 P4 2.8ghz
You'll have to check with Fry's about the warranty....but the first thing you should do is flip it upside down and shake it to get any excess water out. That's what I did with mine and it prevented further damage.
