Computer Keyboard?
My computer's keyboard suddenly took a dump, how did this happen? It worked jus fine this morning, then I restarted my computer and and the crud hit the fan. I am running windows XP and i get a popup that says This device has either malfunctioned or is not recognized by windows. How did this happen. I have benn looking for a chance to go to the wireless keyboard & mouse system though.
This can happen due to bumping the cables connecting the PC to the keyboard and loosening their connection. Try shutting down the PC, unplug keyboard cables and then the power cord (yes really) then plug the power cord back in, reinsert the keyboard cables and be sure the connection is tight, then reboot.
You need to follow all the steps or it won't work.
